Greenhouse
2024
Our current greenhouse (200m2) was used as a sheephouse by the previous owners of our farm. With the help of a group of volunteers we took away the interior and the roof. We changed the rooftiles for polycarbonate sheets. We installed a pump and waterpipe to water the plants with water from lake Vänern. As of spring 2025 the greenhouse is fully operational.
Pizza oven
2023
In the summer of 2023, our friends helped us to build a pizza oven at our garden. It has been built with clay and stones from our land. The pizza oven is fully operational. We are building a second pizza oven in the same style at the campforest.
Sauna on wheels
2024
In the summer of 2024 our friend Onno came to visit us and together with Linard he built a sauna on wheels. The sauna is in use since then and moves around on our property.
Onno works as an interior designer in The Netherlands. Take a look on his website for his wonderful work.
Cow building
2025
In the winter of 2025 we finished the new cowbuilding and took it in use. We have space for our bull, six cows and some calfs.
Eko toilet
2023
In the summer of 2023 it all began with an eko-toilet, built by our friends. Whilst enjoying your stay there, you can read about The Sacred Shit
(a manifest by Hundertwasser) or just enjoy this view.
Porch
2024
Our dear helper Menno built a porch at our house, so we can enjoy sitting outside with the view over Vänern, even with a drop of rain.
All the woodconnections were done by using doweling.
